Here is little Dice Roller was an early Java project I did a couple of years ago. It's a bit long in the tooth now and due for an update. One nice thing, though: it's portable!
Below is my current project that I'm working on with Rob Eaglestone. It is a tool for handling merchant cargo speculation for use in-game. On the Buy Cargo tab, plug in the UWP of the world and click Generate Cargo. If the player wants to buy the cargo and has enough hold space, click Save in Hold to load it onto the ship. When the player's destination is reached and he wants to sell, just select the cargo in the Cargo Hold and press the Sell Selected Cargo button. That will put the cargo up for sale on the Sell Cargo tab, where you will need to enter the UWP of the selling location and hit the Calculate Price button to see what is offered for the cargo. If the price is acceptable to the player, click Sell Cargo and the item will be removed from the Cargo Hold. Right now there is no way to save data and money is only tracked as a running total of transactions, but we have further plans for this little tool. Plus, it will become a part of Rob's Traveller Online program toolbox.
Below this paragraph is a little Java 1.1 applet that randomly creates ribbons - just click or drag the mouse over the ribbon image.
There is no provision for saving the image - (in Windows Alt+PrintScrn will copy window to clipboard then use paint or a graphics program to cut the ribbon out).
