Dakaar Minerals is the division of the Dakaar Corporation which runs the planetary lanthanum mines on Dakaar (Reavers' Deep 1821) and seeks to exploit mineral wealth elsewhere in the subsector. They have operations on Lajanjigal (Reavers' Deep ), Kraan (Reavers' Deep 1828), Daken (Reavers' Deep 1830) and Tashrakaar (Reavers' Deep 1927) among others
The loss of control over the Cassandra Belt (Reavers' Deep 1924) in 1086 has set Dakaar Minerals back somewhat; the company continues to make periodic attempts to exploit the Belt illegally.
