The firm is a Vilani corporation of uncertain lineage, but it is known to have been in business prior to the founding of the Sylean Federation. Naasirka is the largest supplier of communications equipment to the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service's X-boat branch.
One of the original First Imperium Bureaux, Naasirka originated with the shugiliis and floundered after it found that it could not control food supplies on most of the worlds it dealt with, but it ultimately became a broad-line organization which emphasized energy, transport and luxury goods. Its primary area of control during the First Imperium was the Spinward areas.
