Comments: One of the primary cruiser designs for the Imperial Fleet, the Aleue-class fleet cruiser uses a wedge shaped hull with standard atmospheric control surfaces and a substantial surface armament to reduce planetary defense in preparation for troop landings in addition to its primary mission of protecting the battle fleet. Armed with a spinal meson gun almost equal to that mounted in line-of-battle vessels and a factor 5 armored hull, the Aleue-class is capable of effectively battling all but the best equipped battle squadrons.
This design is from my imagination and is intended to assist my Fifth Frontier War campaign.
